Doctoral Program "Visual Heritage" Presented in Leading-Edge Research Session at FFH 2025

Pitch at FFH 2025 given in the Leading Edge Research session
Today, our joint doctoral program "Visual Heritage: Visual Analytics and Computer Vision Meet Cultural Heritage" was presented in the Leading-Edge Research Programs session at the 18th Research Forum of the Austrian Universities of Applied Sciences (FFH 2025), held at FH Campus Wien.
The pitch highlighted the program’s interdisciplinary research at the intersection of computer science and the humanities, focusing on innovative methods for analyzing and visualizing large digital collections of historical photographs and films. Doctoral candidates benefit from collaborative supervision, hands-on work with real-world data, and close cooperation with cultural heritage partners.
